I do put it out there. There are those that don't like it.

I have been, shall we say, full of crap before, but not often.

There is WAY more than one way to skin a cat. I read service manuals until blue in the face, but sometimes those guys are full of it too.

LOL... Let me help put that fire out , we dont have flat tapped lifters , we dont even have lifters
We have OVER HEAD CAMS they take less spring psi and you dont need to do a break in (not that you actually need to do one with flat tapped cams/lifters either)

LOL to this^^^ im sorry Tom but when i built my motor for my turbo build i was bothering him and Rocco bout 2x a day if not more lol.....in the end thou...guess what the motor turned over and sounds real mean!

There are OVERHEAD cam designs that do not lie in oil at all, run some of those as you say and I practically guarantee cam failures. The emphasis of the word in caps like that is the big difference is therefore flawed. There was no exception in that instruct for OHC type engines but look in catalog and they did sell those cams too, the instruct would apply to them as well.

I guess you're smarter than them too, eh?
