New Focus Upgrade Idea's?

I just bought my Focus a few weeks ago. I wanted to hear some opinions on some resonably priced upgrade ideas. I should be getting an FSWerks cool-flo intake for my Bday on the 7th. I was toying with the idea of cutting off my front and back resonaitors and putting strait pipe out the back from the Cat. Keep in mind when making suggestions i dont really want to void the warranty unless its something thats simply removed.

I was thinking about the fswerks streetracing cat back system. Any special reason you recommend the steath version?

People have their preference.

If I would change my exhaust, I would go Borla. I heard an SVT with a Borla Cat back and it sounds amazing.

Borla uses the flowmaster muffler i believe. I actually want a louder sounding exhaust with a deep throuty sound. I heard the FSWerk streetracing and man it sounded amazing but $400 after shipping for a catback system is strong. I dunno if im willing to spend that much.

I have the cold air from fswerks with the race exhaust and it sounds good, if you plan on getting headers then go with the quieter stealth exhaust.

Welcome to the forums, I am going to try and make it out to auto x if I do you can hear it then

I've spent too long looking into the abyss. It's starting to look back.

That would be awesome. I wouldn't mind hearing some other exhausts in person too maybe it may change my mind. Its hard to really grasp the depth of the exhausts sound from a pinhole mic on someones camera on youtube

True story man, it's not that great a quality but here is mine from first day of install. It's mellowed out into a good deep gurgle since then but it's all I got at the moment.

Now that I hear it again it sounds a lot more raspy than it does now... Amazing what a little carbon build up can do.
