Thumbs up Rare ALPINE MRV-1000 amp

Early 90s alpine v12 series in Immaculate Condition old school.

Original specs:

Power Output: RMS Continuous Power (at 12.0V, 20 Hz to 20 kHz)
Per Channel into 4 ohms - 100W - 0.08% THD
Per Channel into 2 ohms - 200W - 0.3% THD
Bridged into 4 ohms - 400W - 0.3% THD

Dynamic Power (at 14.4V, 20 Hz to 20 kHz)
Per Channel into 4 ohms - 150W - 0.08% THD
Per Channel into 2 ohms - 300W - 0.3% THD
Bridged into 4 ohms - 600W - 0.3% THD

Frequency Response - 8 Hz to 60 kHz - (+0, -1 dB)
Signal-to-Noise Ratio - 105 dBA - (referenced to rated power)
Slew factor - Greater than 5
Input Sensitivity (for rated power ouput) - 200mV to 4.0V (1.0V a center detent)
Input Impedance - 10k ohms
Speaker Impedance - 4 or 2 ohms (Stereo), 4 ohms (Bridged)
Active Dividing Network Frequency and Slope - 50 to 200 Hz, 12 dB per octave

THIS IS WHAT A COUPLE OTHER MRV-1000's WERE ACTUALLY TESTED AT.

Actual Tested RMS Continuous Power (at 12.0V, 20 Hz to 20 kHz)
4 ohms stereo - 152.5W x2 - 0.08% THD
2 ohms stereo - 305W x2 - 0.3% THD
4 ohms bridged - 610W x1 - 0.3% THD

Actual Tested RMS Continuous Power (at 14.4V, 20 Hz to 20 kHz)
4 ohms stereo - 228.75W x2 - 0.08% THD
2 ohms stereo - 457.5W x2 - 0.3% THD
4 ohms bridged - 915W x1 - 0.3% THD

4 ohms stereo - 167W x2 - 0.08% THD
2 ohms stereo - 334W x2 - 0.3% THD

Actual Tested RMS Continuous Power (at 14.4V, 20 Hz to 20 kHz)
4 ohms stereo - 250.5W x2 - 0.08% THD
2 ohms stereo - 501W x2 - 0.3% THD

Wow this amp will be more powerful than what it's rated for if it's rated at that power level at 12v imagine what it would be in a car at 14v's nice!

14.4v ratings are listed. these amps are very clean and warm sounding. i completely believe in old school ams and it's all i use.
