Focus Sport Race header with bosal Flexpipe

between my FS RH and the Bosal Flexpipe. WOW, my car is half as loud as it was and DEFINETLY made a world of difference in the HP area.

Ok, what happened was i bought the FS race header and was told i didnt need the FS Flexpipe. So i bought the bosal. Better quality Flexpipe.

So we bolted them up and boom, i got an exhaust leak.

4 months later we put the car on a lift to see how bad the leak is, and theres a 1/8 to 1/4 inch gap between the flexpipe and the FS Race header. The reason? The flexpipe had a perfect angle to fit but the race header makes a slight angle upward making the two have a gap at the top which you wouldnt notice unless the car was on a lift and had a light looking at it.

Well we fixed it, not by drilling holes to line them up better but with silicone. Yep, silicone, worked like a champ.

Hope FS fixed thier race header and/or telling customers about how much a pain in the ass thier race header is with a different companies flexpipe.

Thanks for letting everyone know. I have a Bosal flex and I was debating on getting either FC or FS race header.

Paix...

FC should have no problems bolting up. The FS is still a great Header. Just unless they fixed the problem at some point, you will have to mess with it to get it to bolt up properly.
