good info lol. i don't wanna keep my stock intake, so i should keep the box but cut it down? i'm looking at a K&N filter. maybe a cai idk.

i have a K&N on mine. i dont remember what size i used. its the long one. the only problem that i have run into is that now im getting a CEL because the temperature of the air thats being brought in is too hot.

Just put a good drop in filter in the box and you will avoid head soak. Cut the resonator off the side and attach a hose or "duct" to that opening and route it to the bumper. Then from there post a wtb thread for an SVT snorkel as it is bigger. At least that is what I would do if I had the option to do an intake other than what was on the car when I bought it(steeda SRI which is essential what you are saying you are going to do).

i did it to mine on sun. i have noticed little gains as in it will get up to 60 faster. i have pics on my page if you would like to see it

i bought a spectre that will fit 3,3.5 and 4. i left the stock snorkel and bottom of the air box
