LED taillights

so i'm thinking about upgrading to LED taillights since mine are blacked out and not too visible during the day, im looking for more light, at night they are fine. someone told me if i get LED's it would make my cruise control not work, and that i would need a resistor or something to make it work right.

help

I've got the led's in my tail lights , you'll need a resistor or else you'll end up with the super fast blink referred to as hyperblinking .

This is about the only place that I could mount the resistors without touching any painted surfaces.

And the final product
