Your car is going to turn out awesome, I can't wait to see it done. I like those SVT wheels you got there. Thread subscribed! Where did you get those custom speaker boxes made at. You and I have some similar tastes in body mods.

I have almost the same headlights, except the turn signals are a little different. I like the Pro-Dtm kit, I got the front bumper, and if I don't find some SVT sideskirts I will go with the Pro-Dtm sides as well. I spent $300 in paint and pro-install on the rear bumper and $600 in paint on the fenders and front bumper decided to install those myself. CD-Silver is an expensive paint, but I hope you look for somebody more reasonable lol... I want to look into side stripes as well, mine were stuck straight-on and they slope with the contours of the car.

Maybe I should custom fit some Ford F150 headlights in instead? Then it wouldn't look so "rice"

Anyway. Here are some pics from todays progress.

Take note of the missing plastic injector plug holder. We took it off and made some modifictations and ran the injector plugs under the fuel rail and up onto the injectors so you can now see the pretty fuel rail!











I cant believe I forgot to order the $40 new shinny coolant overflow tank.

And must get the CFM Alloy Power Steering Reservoir. At $140 its going to make me cringe but I am going to do it.

I just post the cost in case anyone wants to get the same items and know how much they are. If it bothers people I wont post it. Massive is a name brand. They make all kinds of focus mods parts. I didnt mean the parts were actually "massive"

The speaker pods were made by a local shop. Pro Audio in Erie, PA
Andy did a great job. After my car gets out of my friends garage this week I will be installing the pods at Pro Audio and post pics of them in the car.

looks great so far! i have the same headlights, but with 1 bulb as the turn signals. love em! looking forwards to it and love that hose kit! maybe a fuse box cover one that injen makes (hard to find) would help make that engine bay perfect!

After finishing up tonight we started the car and there is a vacuum leak on the brake booster vacuum line where it goes into the intake. The intake is a 2000 smooth seam runner which I got because it is supposed to flow better than the raised seam runner intake after 2000. My brake booster vacuum line will not go all the way into the hole on the 2000 intake. It goes in farther on the 01 intake. I found mentions of a "revised brake booster vacuum line" on the internet. I guess they revised the line due to low vacuum on the brake booster. Is this why my brake booster vacuum line does not go in all the way? Maybe I have the revised line and need the original? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does that intake stick up too high it looks to be higher than the strut brace will the hood supports hit it?

The rubber coupler that came with the K&N CAI did not fit on the CFM new TB. So I had to go to autozone and get one that had a larger diameter for the TB and it is much taller than the one that came with the K&N. I cant push it down any further because of the nipple that comes out of the KN for the intake breather. I think I am going to trim the rubber coupler so it allows me to get the CAI tube down further. Or find a shorter coupler.

Any suggestions? The CFM TB has a 3" hole and the CAI tube is 2.5 I believe.

Trimmed the rubber coupler and now the CAI sits proper.

Also got the brake booster vacuum hose in and seated.

No vacuum leaks and car runs awesome.

Also charged the newly revised A/C system and I now can survive summer in comfort.

Ready to install body kit bumpers and new headlights and tail lights on Tuesday.
