My car is the Focus Silver - Silver Frost Metallic Clearcoat

I am keeping the same color. Was going to do some Deep Blue racing stripes 2 about 6" wide with 2" space in between starting at the bottom of front bumper over car to bottom of rear bumper. The body shop guy is saying 2k just for the stripes. About 7K for the body kit install and paint whole car with stripes. This is the best place in our town, they have a multimillion dollar Hot Rod Shop only about 1 yr old and they have 2 other body shops that are super high end. If you want the best you go here. Its Called Bonnells of Erie, Pennsylvania.

For 2k I might skip the stripes and do a nice deep blue pinstripe on the sides.
I may have to goto someone else that is more in my budget though. Not sure. I dont want to skimp on the paint and body kit.

He was saying stripes dont look right if they are just painted on straight. You have to work them out just right so they look right on the car. He said the Shelby Cobra racing stripes change width about 8 times from front to back.
I can see what he is saying because of the contours of the car and how they will affect the look of the stripes.

I want to see what they look like on there? Especially those headlights, I was looking at those a while back and thought they were cool.

Yea it is. I was like WTF when he said he gets 2500 just to install the body kit.
And 7K to do the whole car.
They are known for being the most expensive in town but also the best.

My buddy sent me to his guy and its getting done in 2 parts cause he has little time.

First
$700 for the new metal on my rotting rockers install side skirts and paint them.
Then
1000 - 1500 to install the bumpers and paint the whole car.

My buddy says he does great work. So we'll see.

I will post pics.

Thanks

I put one of the side skirts up to the car to check the fitment.

They should be on and painted in a week or so.

Fitment is perfect.

Hope the bumpers line up this good.
