I just had to deal with this problem today. I have 2010 Focus ses, so I don't know how relevant this maybe to all. But, if your car has the LED's in center console you can splice the power cord to those (red and green striped, like Christmas) with the power wire to your deck. We did this just below the sync portion of the console. The LED's run off the switchable 12v power so it's will turn off and on with the car. Takes a little know how but it works perfectly. Hope this can help some body, because it took us hours to find a place to tap into.
