got this in today. little peace of mind and extra protection for those really crapy rainy days we get here in houston

Ill just leave it in the car and when its really rainy outside ill slip it on

i had one on mine they help but if its raining enough you will suck water like i did then you replace a tp sensor(40 bucks my cost) like I did then you sell the intake and get a short ram like i did just my 2 cents and what happend to me and my car

Wanna know what's better and cheaper than that k&n cover. Building a splash shield from home depot and installing underneath the filter. I used one of those covers and it didnt work so I gabbed up a splassh shield.

^ thats looks very nice but i dont have tools, space or time to make that. Ill try the dryshield for a bit.

if not ill buy those metal shields on ebay for $15.

feels ok. rpms do seem to climb a bit faster and engine sound/growl change was amazing, especially past 4k all the way to redline. .

With my butt/mind dyno Im guessing maybe +2-4whp maybe? wish i had easy access to a dyno to do a before and after. It def feels better than the stock intake with k&n drop in. Im also happy i wrapped it in heat wrap, im pretty sure its doing its job of reflecting/preventing engine heat to cook the air going in.
