Race car hood

Can you make a hood for a 2000-2004 focus that is only the skin with no support? Something I can pin down. Im looking for the lightest weight possible

We cannot only make a 1 off item for one person, we would need a large group of buyers to make the 1 item.

Seems to me that a Carbon Fiber hood serves this purpose

What they reaaally should make, that I know would be a huge seller, would be the Focus Central hood. Now they could even make a variant of it for later model Foci as well. That was a swell lookin' hood.

ummm why dont you group of genius mechanics just buy a cheap fiberglass hood and cut the supports out of it and drill holes for pins? why the hell would you consider getting ED to make a one off job that will cost several hundred if not a few thousand bucks or more when you could get the same thing for maybe one or two bills and do some of the work yourself? even though you will only be shaving maybe 1-2lbs off the overall weight. my fiberglass cobra hood weighs next to nothing anyway. i cant imagine you would loose hardly anything from taking the supports away. if you want to shave as much weight as possible then get out the power drill and start putting holes in everything like the local rice burners do. im actually not joking. you could drop 50lbs or more like that if you are really serious about shaving weight.

I wish the hood was more aggressive-looking, like the nose of a Lancer. When will custom hoods be available for '13 Focus SE's?
