I went to mechanics and they noticed an exhaust leak... i need a new gasket near the catalytic converter, they also noticed that part 1 and 4 (refer to diagram) are rusted and bolts are no longer supporting my catalytic converter meaning there are only 4 bolts holding my cat in place from part.. In order to replace the gasket they need to replace the bolts and parts on 1 & 4. the problem is they couldn't find parts 1 and 4 at the ford dealership so i am not sure where to get them. i know i can get the gasket part but as for the others i could not find them. If anyone knows where i can order the parts 1 and 4 on the diagram please let me know.

?
Go to http://www.fordparts.com type in your VIN and be sure to understand what type engine that you have There IS the possibility that since your car is 10 years old, that part may no longer be available The full part number is not given just the base number Once you find it then print the page and bring that down to the dealer or better yet go to a different dealer Be aware i have run into parts counter people whose lightbulb was dim |

I can't find the parts on fords site.. i think my best option may be to try and go to my nearest junkyard and see if they happen to have the parts.. if not, i will try looking further online and see if i can find a site out there that will have it

Ok this is what you do
Assuming that you don't put in your Vin number Click on model Select year 2003 Select make Ford Select model Focus SEARCH CATALOG Click on exhaust Select Brackets Flanges & hangers Now select the engine that you have 2.0 Now you have four pages of parts and I counted 16 to 18 brackets Now placing your VIn MAY narrow the search |

there are too many parts to tell which are which, im gonna try a second time at the dealership and show them the diagram of what im looking for. they have to have the parts.. if they are on the website they should be able to order them at the dealership.
