well installed the system... and just like it happened when i deleted the lunchbox... then later installed the orp im dissapointed and/or not impressed.

it sounds nice and crisp and its not too loud or annoying at all so once again i really dont know why there is so much drama with my current set up... its only loud when or at the so talked about 2000-2500 ish rmp range but then it settles down and you can barely tell i only have a small oval muffler in my whole exhaust setup... and of course when going WOT the beast comes out but like i said, this set up is ok for what i was looking for and i will def keep it like that. ive had a 2zz 1.8L with lift and reving til 9200 rmps before with straight through pipe and THAT was loud imo, not this...

and for the pics and vids of course...

taking the oem catback out was a BI+CH!!!!!!! i only have the oem stand that raised the car maybe 11''? and its was impossible to take it out with out cutting it TWICE

oem catback with the lunch box and delete pipe option

overall. im 100% happy with the set up and with trubendz. First magnaflow ive ever had and compared to the vibrant in my genesis coupe, the no name ebay brand my M-2zz had and the flowmaster my silverado had this is prob the most crisp, raspiest but still nice muffler can. raspy because i have no cat of course and it does sound exactly like my brothers set up in his zx3. I DO recommend trubendz to anyone looking for cheap yet awesome quality. Everything fit perfectly with out any modifications. and did i mention the exhaust tip is bad a$$?

so IMO dont spend more than $350 in any exhaust, especially for a focus... get this hands down. It prob sounds much mellow and nice with a cat or maybe with another resonator/muffler in the straight section after the flange

Needs a real muffler IMO. It's too loud.

i have to same set up but you should loosen up the clamp in the middle and rotate the pipe so it doesnt hang down so far , just so it doesnt catch on anything

alright so wifey was complaining too much about the sound so i had to add a resonator.

thanks fast ryda for the recomendations!

its a night and day difference! no rasp at all just deep & mellow exhaust noise, went ahead and had them delete the whole connecting section. The further back you put a resonator the more effective it is

its a 4'' round 18'' long resonator

I have the same setup you just installed (except its Borla), minus the ORP. I'm thinking about installing this resonator. I wonder if it works on the borla exhaust or should I get one made by them...

Did you install it or have it done? How much did the install cost?

I dont have a welder up here nor do i have friends that work in exhaust shops so i had it done in my lunch break at a local exhaust shop near my work, took them like 20 mins. It was $40 to install.

Does the resonator do anything to performance?
