It pains me greatly but I've decided to exit the performance Focus scene. I've had a blast with my turbocharged ZTS but time and money (the lack thereof) are forcing me to make some changes. I've had some recurring problems with the bottom end of my engine (my fault) and I just don't have the energy or cash to do what's needed.

I'm terribly sorry that we couldn't figure out and fix your issue together, what ended up being the cuplrit, that caused you to tear everything off and sell at amazingly low prices?

I just might be snatching up some things from you. Glws!

The first culprit turned out to be a spun rod bearing that chewed up the crankshaft. The noise was actually telegraphing up the timing belt toward the head, so it made the tensioner clack too. Either the clearances were out of spec it wasn't getting oil. The rod looked okay so I thought I could get by with simply replacing bearings (rod and mains). After I did so, though, the whole engine seized on me while I was driving down mainstreet.

I could re-build the bottom end again but I'd need to send it out for machine work to give me the confidence I'd need and I just don't have the time or money. I've had an absolute blast building this car but I really need to devote my time to ministry. Let me know if you're interested in anything. Local is always easier!
