I don't care if we don't get to Boone till after dark if we get to hit some good curves but that's me. I like the obscure crazy back roads myself.

Maybe as an idea for a future meet, get together at the dragon's tail or whatever it's called and drive the full thing. The more I see it the more I wanna drive it.... Fast.

Well did a quick route we could take, has a lot of curvy back roads it seems at least the blue line seems pretty curvy to me lol. Looks like it's gonna take 2 hours 47 mins to get there.

I think we might get lost during this meet lol. Google Maps is taking us down a private road that some people in trailers live in and then wants us to drive through the woods. I have a detour though as a back up.

If google says 3 hours, it'll probably take 4. 2 hours stopped taking photos, 2 hours speeding like hell, blazing the twisties! Haha

This is true, just looking at the map it seems like there might be a few spots to test our skills lol. I don't remember if I said this before (horrible memory for my age) but I found a different route than taking that private road (it seems). I'm not against driving down it but my thing is at the end of the road the pavement or gravel stops and then there's dirt for about 10-20 yards before it connects to the next road. Might be a dead end and end with a drop off to big for us lol, or maybe our cars will be a little dirty by the end of the day.

Ahhh man sorry to hear that. I don't blame ya though I can barely afford it, if it wasn't for the birthday money lol. But even if ya head out to Elkin with us for a bite to eat we'll be glad to have ya!

Trust me my car won't be any dirtier than it is right now haha it's pretty damn dirty. And I'll be good with whatever as long as I can physically do it in my car (I don't want to have to turn around haha, I'll go in dirt but can't make a 2+ inch drop off..)

And glad we'll get to meet you!
