Cool stuff. I love the racing but my dad is a bit of a stickler on the no racing thing. We'll have to see. I'm still down for driving up there regardless.

I just have to prove to my dad that I can drive like a demon bat out of hell and still not burn my clutch. Last time.... It wasn't pretty, but I'd only been driving stick then for like 2 months.

Come on out man if you can make it we'd love for ya to come.

I voted before I actually knew Piedmont was 1/8 mile so now I'm actually leaning toward a mountain run. Plus we could always hit up a track next time I head down to Charlotte, I'm sure y'all have lots dragstrips, we couldn't really go to the mountains in Charlotte lol. So your car won't get abused if we do that.

But I'm thinking if we do a mountain run possibly heading up to either Sparta, Boone, or maybe Mount Airy for a photoshoot. A lot of those places seem like they'd have a lot of spots for good shots....I rhymed lol. Then for some good curvy roads maybe hit up the Blue Ridge Parkway.

It may not be that bad, but just from listening to the other guys in HN, it may be in the shop for a while. Ill gladly come out anyways, but IF the fofo is in the shop during the meet, ill just be in my old high mileage GP instead. Wont be able to catch up to you in the mountains and wont be able to run the eighth but ill still be there

Just read up on that man, I really hate to hear that. Like they said it might be a headgasket but I'd say it's probably something different. But that's my nonexpert opinion :P. Engine wasn't running hot was it? Or was the oil kinda milky? It might be the headgasket if one of those happened. But hopefully that shop can get ya all fixed up .

Like you said you should still come out though! I might have one friend coming and might post it up on fb to see if any of the car guys I have as friends want to come, doubtful but worth a shot.

I was really surprised when I saw that both of those things were NOT happening. Engine was normal temp, same with oil temp and pressure. Im hoping it is the TPS like andrew said it might be, but either way ill be up there in some sort of automotive assault vehicular machine thingamabobber. I just hope it will be a little yellow supercharged rocket

We'll see, while im in school tomorrow im trying to get my mom to call the shop and AAA to tow it to the shop. Hopefully, they will be able to hook it up without a hitch and everything will work out in the end.

I could.... I have gold AAA so 100 miles of towing.... but I have a pro shop down here that I trust. Hard to find in a shop now days. No matter what it is though Ill have to tow it to the shop and hope they know whats wrong.

Yea we have an 1/8 in mooresville and 1/4 in concord. All reasonably close together. Yea a mountain run sounds great. Ive been talking about doing one for years with some buddies but never happened. I should have my newly aquired SVTF ready to go, and if not my SVTC but it needs some work, only looks pretty-havent had time to drop the new motor/suspension in.
