P1381 is the SVT Focus VCT being advanced.

Did you change your Timing Belt recently?

I am also moving this to the Technical Chat area.

Come on bro, I put this in the regional to try and find a tech to do this for me. I bought the car and didn't find out til' I took it in for a smog check. The bulb was out so the check engine light had been on all along. Timing belt was done at 108k, and it currently has 114k.

^^ that answers your problem then. Whoever did the timing belt didnt do it right. Id get that taken care of stat as the SVT is an interference engine, and getting the timing right is crucial unless you like blown engines.

Also, talking back to a mod on your second post isnt exactly a great idea. This forum has rules about buying/selling/trading that require you to have a certain amount of posts and time/reputation before you can access them. Technically, he could have deleted the thread, instead he did you a favor.
