I need to find a place to powdercoat my headers.. any suggestions?

Wouldn't that burn/discolor the powdercoating after a while? I've heard of Jet Hot (ceramic) coating a header; and heat wrapping... I know for a fact that the ceramic coating changes all kinds of colors from the heat, not as much experience with header-wrap though.

Is it just me? I know powdercoat cures and hardens by heat; but can you even do that to a header?!

I don't think the OP means traditional powder coating but more ceramic coating. Most places that do that want a new header, not one with carbon inside it.

There is Louetta powder coating, its the only one I know of, but you could always wrap them

powdercoating flows out usually around 400 degrees so powdercoat on a header just stinks like hell and burns off youd need ceramic coating and im not sure the cure temp for that since ive never tried it yet. if the cure temps 500 or under i can do it but 500s about the limit of my oven

^^ You can order the wrap from CFM - > CLICK HERE TO VISIT CFM's WEBSITE

And I would recommend the DEI wrap. I also bought the DEI Wrap spray, but some of the guys opted to not put it on. It's suppose to help the wrap stay on better, but those with out the spray haven't had any real issues with the wrap coming off.

i have this dei titanium wrap. its awesome. wrapped them twice now (dragged my header and tore the bottom of the wrap. this stuff is awesome. easy to apply and works great.
