Aftermarket Cruise Control?

Has anyone added cruise control to their car?

I've seen a few after-market options advertised. This is something I'm seriously considering, but it is really hard to tell the BS from the actual results.

There are a few options if you search google and what not. I'm looking for anyone that has actually done it, and what they would recommend the next go-around?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I do believe a member just got a steering wheel with the buttons. For our cars its all in the computer, if the buttons are there it can turn them on!

I got a cruise steering wheel from my dealer and had it installed, 450$ parts/labor. I dont have luxury of a heated garage and tools, so I have shops work on my cars most of the time.

Factory wheel?

Right on!

You wouldn't happen to have the parts list would you? I may contact my dealer about this.. that isn't much more than some of the after-market options.

Would a factory wheel with buttons for radio control work as well?

Can check on eBay or call a dealer. Also FF poster Gabe2010SE installed a Cruise/radio button wheel with cruise, says the radio buttons won't work without changing to Synch. Can send a PM to Gabe

I got my steering wheel on ebay from Gary Yeoman Ford $176.00. Got a puller from auto zone to pull the original wheel. Cost me $85, I Think it was to get the cruise feature turned on at the dealer I bought it from. See the postings on here by Lacole 725 mikeswaggs very helpful info.
