Question Army Focus Wagon yay or nay?

Had this idea for my wagon. Yay or nay? ;)

Thing is I have never been in army and I'm not planning on going there either. I just kinda like military stuff.

Like that, I say nay. But if it was a darker camo with black wheels, dark tint, and slammed it would be hard to deny how bad ass it is

Most military guys would say no, just because of the fact you've never served. And some guys take offense to stuff like that. Blake (trailbikerider) caught some ish just trying to do his valve cover in digital camo.

Me personally, I could care less. But it definitely has to be slammed, with tint and wheels to look good.

I was in the Army 6 years and I wouldn't take offense. Don't see why anyone would that served in the military. I could see if someone was to wear a military uniform with ribbons and such and be a poser. But to make a persons car look like a military one, what's the big deal? No different than someone driving an old cop car. Doesn't mean they are trying to pose as a cop. Now if someone is wearing a uniform AND driving a military or cop car, yeah then it is impersonation. and can get a person in trouble.

That being said, if you want to do a military style vehicle, for one, I think the older style camo looks better. I served 83-89 and actually had to paint a camo job on the deuce and a half I was assigned to while I was in Germany. I also sometimes drove a CUCV which was a Full size Chevy Blazer.

Some tips if you are serious about doing it. The star emblem is old. Used during WW2. Not in use for decades. Plus it's white. The way the CUCV's were painted was with flat, not glossy paint. Had the black steel wheels or sometimes they were painted green. that's how the paint jobs started out. They were spray painted all over with olive drab paint and THEN later the black , brown and tan patterns were painted on. The identification numbers were painted on the bumpers in black. Sometimes a unit emblem was painted on the doors in flat black, but mostly not. Heh, I once drove a CUCV down the Autobahn. It had 2 yellow flasher lights on the roof. They were held on with magnets. Some CUCV's had them for when we would be in convoys. Well anyways when I hit about 112 mph, they blew off the roof, lol. Luckily the lights had wires that went into the truck to the 12V power supply. So i didn't lose them.

I say NAY, i don't think it goes with the focus, IMO.

One of my CUCV's (both M1008s)was pained red by the division(i have no idea what to call the group) who used it. the other was standard green, and now in primer, with a goal of zebra style camo. I have never been in the military and don't plan on it but i really enjoy the machinery.

112 MPH is insane, in any CUCV. I have gone a blistering 55mph, my brother will do 65mph. M1009's have different gear ratios but still craziness.
