Unhappy IMRC Mod done but not impressed

OK I did the IMRC mod but I did not notice much of a power difrence but I realy noticed the MPG difrence. I 'm not complaining about the mod but just wanting to know why it did not perform to the hype I heard about,("My acelleration whent through the roof") does the fact that I have a 4spd auto make a difrence or is it just my shity luck that my car is just a P.O.S. If any one has any answers or solutions please share them.

Did you get the mod from another site, or here? There is a revision of the mod that does seem to work better. If you rotated the linkage all the way around then you gotta redo it to just rotating it 1/2way around. Some like it, some don't. I liked it so much I removed the butterflies and rod completely.

Its realy easy look it up using the search option use the word (SWAB) those are instructions but instead of rotating the rod all the way only do it half way. You will understand as soon as you read the directions.

I am just to lazy to type them out SORRY.
