Thanks. Yeah, it's do much better/vibrant/cool colored when it's fill screened. Also love the bird on top of my car. I had NO idea it was there until I got home and looked at the shot a week later.

The tape stripe package, the fact that it costs more than a regular GT, some one stop me if there is anything more specific. It used to be back in the day a special edition meant only for California, there were several other localized editions including something Tornado themed in Tornado alley, et al. Now its just an option package that's available to the entire country and therefore loses all its appeal and value to me. A GT-CS used to mean something, now its just a sub trim level.

Suss, it's easy to romanticize the past. The original 1968 GT/CS Mustangs were not much more than a trim upgrade package too. They weren't even true GT Mustangs, because they were offered with any regular Mustang engine (including the I-6). The GT/CS option did include some nice upgrades, like special fog lights, hood pins, side scoops, rear spoiler, Thunderbird-style taillights, and side stripes. They were a special edition, with over 4K units being made, including about 250 which were rebranded as High Country Specials.

As far as my 2012, it is a trim upgrade package over the regular GT. It features special front bumper and integrated fog lights, side stripes and scoops, rear bumper, blacked out rear panel, unique 19" wheels, special seats, and blacked out dash board. In terms of production, Ford built less than 2,600 GT/CS Mustangs in 2012. Here are some pictures of my new Mustang -

It does share the same 5.0L engine as a regular GT, but with 412 HP on tap it certainly can scoot. I considered looking for one in SGM, but opted for the Ingot Silver instead. Some may think the GT/CS option is a waste of money, but I'm thrilled with my purchase.

That was sarcasm last night... I know what a GT-CS is. Thanks for the lessons though. Anyway... Back to SGM pics
