Maybe Herbz checked out of the forum or he doesn't monitor his own posts? Anyway I bet the dealer had to re-glue or velcro his headliner to fix the rattle when the springs didn't fix it and they didn't tell him. Probably this TSB doesn't exist.

My dealer today just tried to look anything remotely related to this and came up empty handed. I think Herbz got a story from the dealer to just go away.

For me, my dealer said a retaining clip had come loose. A different tech found the same thing last time. They removed part of the headliner and saw it not holding. Unfortunately, I didn't see what this clip actually is, but the fix my dealer did was to reattach/refasten that clip. So far, it seems to be holding now. If it happens again, we'll see what to do. I have a feeling that the clip is somehow working loose, so it's creating some stress where the fabric meets the plastic frame around my sunroof making it noisy.

Can anyone tell me where this bulletin about the springs is. I have been in Oasis and cannot find it. I have the same problem and my service manager cannot find the TSB relating to this. They have already glued and put foam in the headliner and but the vibration is still very noticeable

Hi jdwhite9547,

I want to escalate your case and get your regional customer service manager involved. To do so, I'll need you to send me a PM with your VIN, dealer, mileage, daytime phone number, and full name. I'll get the ball rolling and ensure someone contacts you soon.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks!
Crystal

I dont know how to send a PM - only second time in here... I did find the TSB on the springs though. It is to do with creaking in the front of the car and nothing to do with a rattling and vibrating headliner.
