How to get the tune you paid for

As we all know no 2 Engines are the same and there are hundreds of changes in a tune file even if the engine is stock.

How to get the tune you paid for is easy DATALOG with out datalogging and sending me/your tuner a datalog we/they have no way of telling what changes need to be made to work safest and best for your engine and mods then you dont have the best tune you could get or what you paid for

Datalogging is all part of tuning and is a MUST in my opinion , I have never seen a base (first tune/best guess) sent out that was perfect

What is a Base tune ? A Base tune is the first tune (best guess) for your mods then a datalog is needed to make changes to best work with your engine and mods

I always get from my customers that "it runs much better then it did why do I need to log" and the answer is because we could make it a little better/safer and in most cases we do

I want datalogs from my customers and everyone getting a tune should be sending datalogs to there tuners till the tuner says everything is where it should be , it just doesnt take that log and is well worth it

With out datalogging you are running a best guess tune

Tom

I'll be getting a new datalog to you later tonight when I go for a cruise after work. I just wish it wasnt so damn cold out for driving to be a little bit more enjoyable.

The xcal3 is a very powerfull tool , it can load tunes , datalog and check / clear your CEL

Anyone with a tune from any tuner needs to datalog , Like I said with out datalogging your running a generic best guess tune not a custom tune everyone with a tune needs to send there tuner a datalog so he can see what your engine is doing and make the changes needed
