I decided to pull the trigger and do my hood...
I decided to paint the hood and front bumper like in the pic i posted.. But instead of the dark grey, I went with a metallic black... I decided at the last minute to change to that color after i seen it while buying my paint. I still plan to use the blue stripe though. Just got the base coat down, now i get to wait a week, and put the stripe on, before waiting another week to color sand everything then clear coat it... so far only a couple little flaws, but nothing i can't fix... Pics will be revealed when i complete the job...

They're coming... I just finished shooting the clear... Now.. its the waiting part while it bakes in the sun.. then the final finishing sanding and buffing... THEN you will get pics..


Oh.. When doing touch up work.. Masking tape and hot fairly fresh paint don't play nicely together... ask me how i know...

But I now have a very pretty metallic black and Bahama Blue Metallic left hand and fingers... ugh..
