Front License Plate

I live in a state that does not require a front plate. However my wife wants a decorative plate on her 2012 focus sedan. My question is, is there a bracket that installs to attach the plate too, or do you just screw it into the front bumper? If there is a bracket, what is the part number?

there are two dimples in the top of the center grille for the license plate mounting area. They are actually over two bosses that penetrate the bumper cover itself. I will drill the dimples and then just use some self tappers to mount if the popo every catches me not running the front plate

My wife wants to put those family stickers on the car. I tell her I'd never drive the car again. I love the car too much to put anything but a FF decal on it. No way I'd put screw holes in my bumper if I didn't have to.

All standard plates should fit what is on the bumper already.

That is awesome. Front plates are mandatory where I live, but I could leave it hidden, then just pop it out when I get pulled over. If I could figure out what to do with the existing plate cutout...

What about if she put these ones on?

I had them on my last car (Explorer) but didn't bother to get new ones for this car cus it's only Me, wife, and cat.

This is her Focus, I would never put a front plate on mine. There is nothing on the front bumper right now. I do see little spots where it looks like it matches up to the plates screw holes. I didn't know if you just drilled a hole and screwed it in, or if Ford sold a kit that the plate fits into then you screw onto the bumper?

Just tell her that those family stickers are what child molesters use to target families, and she wont ever want them.
