MK3 Face lift Focus on Sale

Barb Samardzich, Ford of Europe chief operating officer told Automotive News Europe in an interview today (April 16) the face-lifted Focus, to go on sale in August.

I am posting this here as this is probably an indication that North American 2015 Focus will be in the same time frame.

We wait in German on the new facelift. But only because of the 8 "MFT (My Ford Touch)
The facelift itself is not so good. Looks like the new Ford Fiesta.
But I drive a FOCUS.

I love FF
I love Frankfurt (and Ford Focus)

I remember reading somewhere that the 2015 Focus was going to be in showrooms in early 2015. Does that mean it'll be delivered during that time, or that it'll be available to order at that time?

Model years start production midway through the previous year, and generally go on sale well before the new year.

I read from workers inside the Saarlouis Assembly plant in Germany, that they are scheduled to start production in August.
So it should be in showrooms sometime in September.

I just read from a person at the New York Auto Show, he was told 2015 Ford Focus will launch this summer.

As I mention previously, I am sure production in Germany and USA will most likely start within weeks or days of each other.
But there is some confusing reports from a autoguide video done at the show were the host said to expect the new 2015 Focus to go on sale early next year.

After "Summer Break" is normally when production starts in Saarlouis. This allows the new tooling to be installed while no production is going on.

The Focus doesn't need a face lift! It needs a new better, reliable, trusty, good, worry free transmission. Period.

You drive the stick though (according to your info) I think it's hard to judge the DCT if you don't drive one for more than a quick test drive, or just read complaints on it. It's got its quirks, but it drives fine from my experience.
