Im looking to get a tune for my svt, but really dont want to buy a sct flasher. Are there any shops around michigan or people who can tune it for a fee?

I think you will need a sct or predator to flash the car. it also comes in handy for data logs and pulling codes. best money I ever spent was on toms tune

You're better off getting a device and having a tuner who's familiar with the Focus do the tuning. I'm not aware of anyone in the Detroit area who is doing it. I'd highly recommend 1turbofocus. You simply run a datalog of your car, email to him, and he emails you back a tune, which you then upload to your car. It's worth every cent.

Tom offers a SCT flasher + tune for the life of the car for approx 420ish including shipping. You can't beat that price along with unlimited additional tunes for free as you continue to add to the car. I recently got mine from him, and cannot be happier with the device + service Tom gives.
Really look him up and speak with him on the pros and cons of buying one vs having to go to a shop for a reflash for each new tune. (FYI there is really no con to purchasing one yourself other than the cost, which will then pay for itself for diagnosing CEL's when a shop chargers atleast 80+ per scan.)

A tune for free? ^^^ Wow. And what are you going to do in return? A tune for free wow! Just step up & order one= more drivabible, mpg, more performance. Have you every thought, you can recoop your money back? I could use your rear caliper bracket's, could you ship them to me for free, huh? LOL

fee my friend.. Not free. lol And yeah I've been hearing alot about tom. I'm thinking about just shelling out the cash for the sct flasher.. Might as well.. Its only money :/
