I think the poll wording has some people interpreting the question differently than others. Some seem to be answering "no" because they would have got a few different options or waited for the ST... while I thought it more of a "would you instead consider another car model" question. Either way my answer is "yes" I would buy this exact same car again.

I love the car; but I wish I would have waited for the ST

I can't vote on this one yet as I need to get the two updates done (transmission and MFT). I do like this car a lot (11,500 miles now since July 30th) but the "love" has gone away with the above two issues. I kick myself for having the 2.11 MFT update installed (it did much better with the 2.10) and the continuous lag I feel when I depress the gas pedal along with the uncertainty of the trans not knowing what gear to be in after having to give it more input (than necessary) to get it to kick down to then pass someone on the highway is frustrating as hell. I think that's compounded by the fact the MPG's are looking me in the face and the extra input seems to have an immediate negative affect on the readout. If I was forced to vote now I would have to say no. We'll see what happens with these updates and I sincerely hope I change my mind.

I would of bought the Focus again without question. My mistake was buying one with about 225 miles on it. I should of read the boards to anticipate any problems and gotten it solved at the dealer level if possible. I will have my transmission looked at by 7,000 miles or 1/31/12, whichever comes first (slight flare, gear grinding, and responsiveness) and get a slight noise in my steering resoved at that time (steering gears might not be lubricated fully). Other than that, I give kudos to Ford for improving the Focus. At the 2011 NY International Auto Show, I fell in love with the car. I give the car a B+ on the grading scale!

If I had another chance, I would definitely buy another Focus. However, it would be the Hatchback instead of the Sedan, but the car I have now is just fine (and I make it work for me)

The poll really should have an I don't know option.

I've thought about it some more and I have decided that I would order the same exact car again. I've fallen back in love with the gray (color is what I might have changed but not anymore). It really is a beautiful color!

Can't vote yet, but the answer is YES! This is the 2nd best car I have ever owned (my '66 Fairlane being the best). I love the handling and mileage, and MFT even with it's issues. I also love the DCT, as I can't drive a stick anymore, so it's the closest feel to a manual for me. 16K on mine, and other than the normal MFT lock-ups, I have no complaints. Looking forward to adding a cold air box soon!

I settled on my Sterling Grey SES sedan, but I'm really loving the car as a whole.

But now that I KNOW I love the car so much, I would go back and tell myself to wait and keep looking for a black one. This color is great, but it is NOT me.
