Give your car a couple of days to relearn the fuel trims.

In theory, the mileage shouldn't change at all because the air/fuel ratio is basically fixed under most conditions, including cruising.

I know i didn't give any information because i wanted honest answers.

"a few days"
it has been a month and i don't think 2000 rpm at 55mph is right. I really like this car but a total rebuild on the transmission in 12000 miles?

I dont know that seems about right. I think it sits at about 3000 RPM's at right around 70mph so 2000 at 55 mph doesnt seem wrong.

That ball park is about right on my 5sp. I don't know what the 6sp auto would be, but probably not more than about 300rpm or so less at that mph.

I just drove home from work and I was sitting at 2000 rpm at 55 mph. So seems normal to me.
