I'll only be using them in the winter in Wisco. I think they'll be fine.

EDIT: Strangely enough, I've seen 2 cars with these hubcaps this week! An older VW Beetle as well as a minivan. Weird...

I can get these by tomorrow if I wanted.

Step 1, Remove stock hubcaps from steelies.
Step 2, Get 5 Pie Tins
Step 3, Hammer 4 of the pie tins flat
Step 4, Duct tape tins to wheels
Step 5, Use remaining tin to make pie
Step 6, Eat pie and enjoy new wheels
Swag.

I was going to make my own (either with pizza pans or by melting plastic in a pan), but like 3 months passed without me doing it and my axle nut started to rust. I eventually realized it just wasn't going to happen - so I bought them.

Now I want pie.

Decided to Plasti-Dip these ugly rims with flat black.

Before:



Prep with tape:



After two coats:



Final with center caps sitting next to car:



Final without center caps sitting next to car:



I think I will roll without center caps. Should looke better with the chrome lug nuts showing and the dished in area.

I think with the center caps it looks too much like a sun design.

Thoughts?

BTW those last two pics were taken at night with iPhone so the rims actually look much darker like in the third pic.

I personally completely agree. Looks much, much better without the center caps in my opinion.
