Technically that "subforum" is a link to two separate forums, one for the Fiesta and one for the Fusion iirc, but ok.

next...
Next thing I wanna try is the projector retrofit... I might snipe some used spare headlights from Ebay and get the Morimoto H1 Projector Kit and some H1 HID bulbs to try this out... I wonder if a Heat Gun would do the trick as opposed to putting the headlights in the oven for the baking...

It might, I used a heat gun to break open my headlights on my Blazer back in the day. Just be really careful not to melt the plastic.

Did you see the diagram on the previous page and the write-up with pictures on this page?

Both together just about cover everything.

I agree with Bwill9886 - If you follow the diagram and my pictures as visual reference, you should be able to wire things up with no issues! :)

Ok... so I've got all the harness/resistor etc...
My question is, if I mount the resistor onto an old CPU heat sink, where would be a good location to put it? If I shouldn't, where would be a good place to tap or bolt down the resistor so heat can dissipate?

There is actually a decent space underneath the headlight assembly on each side with what amounts to a platform to rest things on, if you have enough wire slack let it rest or at least tighten it up so it dangles down there.

Ok... all done.

I did notice I'm getting bulb dip error still because of the passenger side... before you ask, yes, resistor and all the wiring is correct... and yes.. I tested it with a bulb to the side; and that gave out no errors.
The resistor alone doesn't seem to be a high enough impedance... unless of course you pair it with the harness...
Anyhow.. Pics!

Yeah I have a feeling a number of these resistors aren't subjected to much quality control...

Mine just failed after I installed my new Morimoto stuff to replace the DDM crap. So that's another week or two wait on a video...
