Everything went great! Im glad I listened. Using the FORDFORUM promo code when buying the nightvison kit with the relay for the 2012 everything came to $100 including shipping! And most important, no headaches.....you can't put a price on that!

Just a question, where did you mount the resistor? That thing gets dang hot and i dont want it melting other wiring in the area. Right now i bolted it to a computer power supply heat sink and zip-tied it to the frame. Even then the heatsink gets super hot. Any ideas?

Self taping screws on the frame work best.

yeah i thought about that, just not a huge fan of drilling holes into my frame ya know. like i figured that would be best be i checked tonight after a while of driving with the lights on and nothing was melting or even smelling of melting. I think im ok with the heatsink for now. il just keep an eye on it. Pics coming

They look great! Are they 6000k? Did you happen to take a pic where you mounted the ballast and resistors?

I mounted the ballasts in the fender wheels that are open when the headlight is out using Black 3m Double Side Tape (the expensive stuff)

I mounted my ballasts underneath the frame right below the headlights. I used some double side tape and a couple zip-ties for added assurance.
The resistors i have attached to a heat-sink and zip-tied to the frame rail just behind the headlights.
