my acceleration feels sluggish and slower after I did my oil change. Could it be because it's full synthetic? anyone else get the same feeling?
thanks

No, that doesn't make too much sense if you didn't use the wrong viscosity motor oil, if anything synthetic flows easier, which should impart less drag on engine components.

Retrace your steps. Did you put oil back in? It went in the opening under the 710 cap?

We drained the oil, which took maybe only 5 minutes tops... I was running low... I had that Oil change warning for a few days. I forgot I had an extra quart of 5w-20 synthetic blend - I could have topped it off.
Anyways I used 5w-20 full synthetic Castrol Syntec. put in 4 quarts and then in the user manual it said it needs 4.5 so I put in another half quart but it maybe was too much oil to put in? When I check the dipstick the oil is a few milimeters above the hashmarks (bit too much) - it's supposed to be in the middle of the hashmarks right?

I also cleaned/lubed my air filter, and treated my gas tank with Seafoam motor treatment, but that should already but gone through the engine.

could it be that or a combination of all those things?

How many miles between last change light should never come on I do 5000 had it come on once they forget to reset it. If it is low to the add mark in even 7500 miles take it in to dealer. The level cold would be at high line or just above recommend check is a fee minutes after turning off engine. Good luck. Not sure what sea foam would do might have fouls a plug have codes checked for miss fires. Also lightly oil air filter to much oil will destroy the MAF meter try cleaning it.

Just a few mm. high on the dipstick isn't an issue. Should be at the top of the hash marks when full, bottom of them is 1 qt. low.

Don't know how much gas you've gone thru since the Seafoam gunk in the tank, you'll have some in there for a while as it gets diluted more.

IF it is actually running any different, the air filter service might be involved. What filter & how did you clean/dry/oil it?

It was around 9,500 miles on the last oil... I know... that's really bad lol...
I did clean and oil the air filter myself as per instructions. The filter is Steeda's. I sprayed it with the cleaner, let it sit 10 mins, and cleaned it in the sink with water which did most of the job. Let it dry completely, the oiled it. I do not feel that I used too much oil, and even let it sit inside the house for over 24 hrs after oiling. I will check the MAF.
"Seafoam Motor Treatment" and K/N cleaner kit

After oiling filter

maybe a re-flash of my tuning will sort things out?
thx

Grab some Maf sensor cleaner and give that a shot. Some people have issues with them getting gunked up after an air filter cleaning/oiling. I highly doubt the oil change has anything to do with it.
