my damage were gouges. from my horrible pics, you can see it scraped all the way down until i saw grey / black and the kit repaired it. don't think the kit was made for damage like that, but it worked.
will do, will do

so i got my drcolorchip package in the mail today, decided to start some on my bumper. did as directed from that video, paint on, smear flat, wait a little, which was more keep painting until enough time elapsed til i go back to use the cleaning solution, and then microfiber towel it. i guess it didn't turn out aswell as i expected. seems like it would be better just to get my car repainted haha.
would applying a clearcoat to it do anything?

i can't see your pic.

may be stupid, but are you sure you did it right? you're not supposed to rub too hard as the mixing compound (pink fluid) could dissolve the touch-up paint and leave it looking the same.

i BARELY rubbed over the scratches on my car and the touch-up paint slowly started to blend.

i also did a couple of applications on the same spot to make sure everything blended and was covered nicely.

try it again as you may have more luck.

yea i didn't rub too hard at all. i sent them an email with the image and see what they say. i did it right, paint, make flat, wait 5-10 minutes, and use pink fluid.
i recently realized that my garage isn't warm, so that may have affected it, don't you need it to be warmish to paint? or does it not really matter for this type. it won't be hard to go over it again when this all gets figured out

still can't see your pics, try using:

http://www.tinypic.com

or

http://www.photobucket.com

and the paint doesn't need to be warm at all. i just shook up the container, made sure it was mixed well, and just followed the video step by step.
