sweet trip to reno this weekend
So even though the roads were bad yesterday a took a chance and went. Roads were great except for one small spot and there were two spin outs in front of me. Reno was a lot of fun and got to do a little snow driving in sparks as well. Always enjoyable!
So anyway how does everyone drive back down from Reno? Do you coast in neutral on the downgrades or just keep in gear? I prefer to coast and seem to find the best results but I'm also told staying in gear is better economically because the injectors supposedly turn off when coasting. Time to go wash the rocket!

The injectors don't turn off when coasting. If they did that your engine would die. I always have my car in low gear.

depends if im in a hurry or not. if im in a hurry my foot is planted on the gas and if not just toss it in a low gear like chris said. lol

last time I went i got stuck at a 25 mph Chain speed.............. GRRRRRRRRRR effffd up my night.
But I cruise (Automatic)
