Relentless Grinding Noise

I have a 2005 ZX3, and for the past month or so, EVERY single time I begin to accelerate from a stop, I will hear a very pronounced "grinding/vibrating" sound coming from the area of the passenger side door and front fender. It never fails to happen whenever I'm starting off from a stop. It is getting to the point where it's REALLY irritating, and I'm wondering one, what could be causing it, and two, if anyone else has had this problem?

I can't really record the audio of the noise, but it basically sounds like the door/door panel is being vibrated very roughly. I've thought of removing the door panel and seeing if anything is loose in there, but it's not a sound like anything is loose and rolling/moving around inside the door... it's more just like the door and panel itself are just being harshly vibrated.

Does it continues somewhat while driving? or is it only right when starting to move: how long does it continue?
IMO if it is all the time but worse when starting off. it is a bad wheel bearing.
Also if when you start to turn it gets louder or quieter.. wheel bearing.

Thanks. It does continue somewhat when driving, but only when picking up speed, or being on the gas. I will check the wheel bearing.

I've seen both door speaker and glovebox items vibrate to do that. As well as passenger side engine mount, more that if you feel it as well as hear it. Could be wheel bearing or the intermediate bearing further up axle too.

My father and I looked under the car today, and we think it could be the heat shield, as the shield is pretty loose underneath the car, and is slappin' about against the parts beside it. Gonna raise the car up and have a good look on my day off... hopefully it won't be something that's too expensive to fix.

Fasten the shield down. Often you can then simply rebend the shield edges by hand to change its' vibration characteristics. Those things drive people crazy with different noises.
