Look at it this way, used car prices are the highest they have EVER been compared to the original vehicle cost. Blue book values are actually right for the first time ever...and Ford is putting out vehicles good enough to compete worldwide, fleet cars or not. We should be able to get plenty out of our used Focus's, since the number of folks who can afford a new car is likely to remain low for years to come...sadly.
^^ ...well said.

Rental Car companies generally have a reputation of doing too much billable work on their vehicles. It's easy money for them.

March freakin' 8th. Rochester freakin' NY. Leaving work last night (climate set to 70 on auto) and felt cool air. Looked down and my AC was on. March freakin' 8th. Strange, strange winter.

I work in Baltimore. I hear it's even nicer out today, but haven't gotten outside yet. Hopefully it's still nice when I get out of here.

And now it is March 10th and I can't even see across the parking lot from my office window because of the heavy sideways snow. Again, strange, strange winter.
