200,000+ Mileage Foci, Post here..

There's one for 100,000 miles, so there needs to be one for 200,000 miles.

I'll start. I rolled over tonight.

I rolled over 200,000 right after I pulled into the local Ford dealership. Car still runs great!

Just rolled 240,000mi. Motor has 97,000mi but the original motor came out at 232,000mi. Could have just changed the head gasket but I had an extra one sitting around. Only problems Ive had were a bad alternator/battery and the head gasket. Couple other little problems but nothing that wasn't a quick fix

One needs to add frequency of oil change [e.g. 3000 or 5000 miles] and engine type if more than one type was offered for that year

This isnt mine and he doesnt post any more but this is what Lloestreich over at FJ sent me when I asked him about it:

That was as of 4/24/11, so who knows if its still running or how many miles he racked up since then. I want to say it was just typical maintenance for the miles, maybe a new alt. Impressive!

FJ disabled searching temporarily, so i cant look up the old thread or remember what year duratec he had

Well, since mine is an SVT, there was only one engine available.

Oil changes:

4,000 miles up to about 80,000 miles - Every 7,500 miles on Amsoil XL Series Oil and Ea Filter
80,000 to about 140,000 miles - Every 10,000 miles on Amsoil XL Series Oil and Ea Filter
140,000 to now - Between 20,000 and 25,000 miles on Amsoil Signature Series and Ea Filter

242k on a 2002 ZX5. 2 timing belts and water pumps, 2 radiator fan assemblies, 4 batteries, 2 radios, oil change @ 5k miles, and make it a habit not to exceed 3k rpms in any gear.
