wow, this stuff looks awesome. Sounds like the 1080 stuff would work best for outside use. I want to do the black grill look and this seems alot easier than traditional paintwork a long with a lot less supplies.

Curious if anyone has done the White CF on anything. May look really good...lol

Interior pieces done in the 3M 1080cf. Its also better for outside apps than di-noc.

Got one of my map pockets wrapped. Now I need more wrap to do the other one and the door handle inserts on the front doors. Roof is next followed by hood.

Blue5ive, how well does the 3M 1080 stick to interior car vinyl - that is, everything else that would normally need sanding when painting (such as the indoor handles you wrapped)?

Wanted to share: http://www.alsacorp.com/index.htm
They have a LOAD of design applications, including wraps. A friend of mine is helping me out, I'm just choosing colors right now. And as a wrap that it "scratch resistant"...check out this SofTouch film from the same company..wooooowwww... lol

Wow, 3 months and no more posts here.

Still gotta finish wrapping my door handles. Has held up with no issues. Sealed the edges of the wrap on the backside as a " just in case" extra measure. But I have never heard of anyone having any issues with it peeling on the interior. Just gotta make sure the vinyl/plastic is totally clean and free of any oils or Armorall type residue. Still plan on doing my hood and roof but instead of cf vinyl I am leaning more towards a matte black or the brushed metallic black. Really like the brushed metallic since the Twilight blue of my car is a subtle metallic. Just afraid it might be harder to cleaned cuz of the texture of the brushed finish. The matte would be easier to clean; I guess, but its big advantage is it would be a bit cheaper than the brushed.

Enough book report. Maybe some pics later.
