Ha sooo say if I had a carbon fiber hood...and was too lazy to re-clearcoat/gel it because its starting to fade bad, I could technically DI-Noc it?

Yes you could Di noc it but the 3m 1080cf12 is a little better than the di noc especially for outside. They both use the same adhesive system so are very forgiving. It won't look the same as your cf hood just so you know. Personally if I had a cf hood I would get it recleared. It will cost you about $100 for the cf vinyl to do your hood.

If you take it to a body shop, theyll sand it down and clear coat it for $150 or so.
