My 17" wheel and tire come in at 43 lbs together, so based on a 22 lb tire weight (per Tire Rack), the 17 x 7 Black Machined wheels should be right around 21 lbs. That's about normal for a gravity cast OEM wheel in that size.

that's not bad... i have the spoke designed ones like zx3matt does. So if all the 17's are about that, there is definitely lighter out there that can improve some aspects of the drive.

also, I am curious if anyone has tried a 18x8.5 with a thinner tire, possibly a 35 offset. Or tried to get that flush look with aftermarket 17's and what offset they went with.
