does anyone know the weight of the 17's or 18's?

and

ZX3matt ... do you think you could of gone with at least a 10mm up front? were you worried about rub issues? I like that you just moved out the wheels in your black paint post!

My 17" wheel and tire come in at 43 lbs together, so based on a 22 lb tire weight (per Tire Rack), the 17 x 7 Black Machined wheels should be right around 21 lbs. That's about normal for a gravity cast OEM wheel in that size.

that's not bad... i have the spoke designed ones like zx3matt does. So if all the 17's are about that, there is definitely lighter out there that can improve some aspects of the drive.

I think I could have, but wanted to make the front and rear look equal. Now the tracks are equal. When you are next to the car, the front and rear both sit in the wheel well the same. Plus, with just 5mm in the front, I didn't have to change studs...

The stock 18" is around 25lbs.

also, I am curious if anyone has tried a 18x8.5 with a thinner tire, possibly a 35 offset. Or tried to get that flush look with aftermarket 17's and what offset they went with.
