Now that I've driven my Ti hatch with my winter setup (17" Michelin PA3s) a few times, I've noticed a slightly less stiff ride compared to the 18" PS3s, but it's a fairly minor difference.

$595 for the package. I then sold my original 18" Focus rims for $900, bought my new rims, had them installed, and bought the spring kit all for $900. Now I have 18" Michelin Z-rated tires, on beautiful rims, and the lowering kit, plus the bigger sway bar for $595. You can't beat that deal with a stick.

As far as the ride goes... the handling package is a little stiffer, and the tires are lower aspect ratio so you get a little harsher ride. On the other hand, it's still very refined for a daily commuter.
I agree, lots for very little. Test drove a SEL and love the Ti suspension and wheels.

I went with a titanium hb without the handling package for a few reasons.
The stock suspension on the titanium with 17" tires actually handles very well for factory rubber. It is very refined and sporty.
The taller sidewall of the 17's offers a nicer ride if the roads are choppy in your area.
The 17's are all season so when the cold weather hits you will not be stuck with rock hard summer rubber. You can put on your winters when ypu are ready.
The 18's cause quite a loss of trunk space that I didn't want to give up.
Lastly I didn't like the 18" wheel at all. Went with the black 17's.

We got the handling package, but now wish we hadn't. Our main complaint is the lack of all-season tires to choose from and low tread life on the OEM tires. We're getting new wheels and tires next week and will try to sell the 18" Ti's. Oh well, you live you learn.

The handling and ride is fine, but we also noticed the larger turning radius than our Subaru Forester (33' vs 36'). It's still better than the 53' in my truck though!

Welcome back, thread from 18 months ago...

In all fairness, I've seen threads resurrected that were multiple years old.
