Now I'm having second thoughts. I went for a drive, and intentionally drove over every bumpy lane divider I could find, and while I hear them intermittently, it's not that bad. Just need to readjust my expectations, I suppose.

The most irritating thing about the rattles is that they're completely random and so difficult to trace or duplicate.

EXACTLY!! That's what my video upload was about. Did it that one time loudly, and hasn't done it since that afternoon. I guess I should call Inspector Gadget!?!?

I have a bunch of rattles as well. It would drive me even more nuts if it was like 40-50K car. When I have the heat on, it makes plastic crackling noices around the speedometer trim. Also have a rattle (thought was in the B-Piller but its actually the door panel on the top left corner of the driver side door (closest to where the seatbelt is)). If I push in on the top left corner while driving the noise stops but once i take my hand off of it it starts again. I'm really regretting not going with the Fusion, but it's too late now. But as mentioned, could have been worse and paid 40-50K for a car that does this (and other issues).

Took my car in because the washer fluid wasn't spraying for the hatch wiper since day 1. When I picked up my car they told me they had to rip out the whole headliner to find the kink in the hose. I was instantly worried as people have had all sorts of headliner issues. Well, now my headliner rattles a bit and has smudges from remounting it. Also, it seems looser than it used to be. I wish I wouldn't have had the thing fixed.

Another video to show it's not the seat or seat belt or door panel/speaker. It's clearly coming from somewhere inside the daaassshhhh is what we confirmed

I had the exact same rattle and it turned out being the passenger side console panel was loose. I will try and find a picture of the piece I am talking about.

I also noticed a lot of these cars have rattling passenger seats. I have an annoying rattle when my passenger seat is empty, but when I hold the seat with my hand or drive with a passenger, no rattle.

Here is a pic of the piece i'm talking about.

Mine was loose from the factory. It's held in place with one clip. If you pop off the clip cover with a flat head screw driver you will see the clip, make sure its pressed in all the way down, mine was halfway out and it caused that piece to rattle.

Good luck, I hope you find the rattle.

I retract my comments. It was a cool 50F evening tonight, and the number of rattles I'm hearing going over bumps is insane. Bringing it in this Friday.
