Nav and rear camera problems

2013 Titanium with 1200 miles. Went to use the GPS yesterday and the city button would not display. Also, only a 'Q' was displayed on the keyboard and only a '3' was displayed on the numeric keyboard.... LOL...

And then I noticed that the lines in the rear camera were absent..

Calling the dealer today. I'm assuming they will reloard the software..

Welcome to MFT quirks my friend. All the dealer will probably do is unplug a fuse and reset the system which you could easily do yourself. This is something I live with until they update the software.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll try that when the wife returns home.

The one in my 2010 F-250 has performed flawlessly.

Problem solved. Loose nut between the display and drivers seat.. LOL...

I certainly don't remember changing options, but I must have.

Anyway, it now works properly.

EGlideRider,
If you put it the car into reverse just after you start the car and before the MyFordTouch boots up, the backing aid lines can become disabled and will require you to go into the menu and re-enable it.

THAT explains it! I've been having the lines disappearing forever and gave up trying to figure it out after turning them back on numerous times. Hope they fix it sometime. Thanks for posting that tidbit!

Thanks Sylvester. I was fairly certain that I had not disabled them.
