Daydreaming while looking over more SEMA photos.

I must say my opinion on the 3D Carbon rear valence has done a 180. After talking to a local shop and looking at the photos they sent me, I wasn't a fan. Now though, I think I am.

I've always liked the 3DC rear for the sedan. Adds some flavor.

Did you ever find out where your clunking was coming from?

It was always those little indents under the reflectors that threw me off. The hatch's rear valence doesn't have them and I think it's a huge improvement.

So, my idea for an improvement on the piece (please excuse the extremely crude edit):



The next issue would be how low the kit is. All I have is the small Downforce front lip and I don't want side skirts that'd sit lower than it.

Regarding the clunking, not yet. I have yet to have a chance to get the Focus in to work and on a hoist to give it an inspection. It seems to have temporarily gone away too....again.

Any 3D Carbon retailer should be able to get it. I was quoted $1100 for the kit and shipping this summer, by a local shop.

On an aside, that sedan is almost exactly what I'm shooting for with my hatch...monochromatic and simple
