How well does your Focus drive in snow?

Im planning on getting snow tires and wheels next season... the Stock 16's are a little to much foot print in the snow..(215/55-16). I want some steel wheels and skinnier tires for snow

yeah, they were dogs w/ only 90hp.. u had do down shift to fourth and sometimes third to get up a big hill on the freeway....yikes!

It's heavy for a small car, that's probably why they were so good in the snow.. My Focus will go through the snow, it's the constant feeling like it wanted to do a 360 all the time while I was driving that I am not crazy about.

heavy!? they , according to my registration, only 2,300 lbs....

Yeah, I just drove my 02 SE yesterday in the snow, it was pretty fun to slide around in the parking lot, but when it came to road driving, I kept it under 45 on the highway, and still slipped a little. But I've got stock tires and, like I said, this was my first time. Considering, I had a pretty easy time, so don't fret too much, just take it kinda slow.

Stock tires suck and with winter tires It would be ok in the snow...

With my stock tires it was ok in the snow and with my Blizzaks it is awesome in the snow. BTW my other car is an AWD WRX for comparison.

My last vehicle was a ranger 4x4 fx4 and prime well pa100 tires, they were terrible but handled snow better than these tires.

The snow we just got last nighr was some heavy stuff and turned to bacon fat.
There was a lot of accedents today. So this snow really showed how well this car does In the winter.

Ive driven a lot of vehicles in this weather and same type of snow and this is at the bottom of the list with these tires... Includes a impreza with 35k on all season tires. And my buddys old 96 cwlica with 1mm of tread handled it better and thats not an exageration.
