SVT Focus short block, various Zetec and Focus SE and ZX3 parts.

UPDATED Cleanign out my shop, need to make room for a new project.

The Zetec performance bottom end rebuild kit


JE forged 10.5:1 pistons in .007ths overbore, Total Seal moly rings, Eagle 4340 rod set with 3/8 ARP series 2000 rod bolts, SVT crank with Mahle main and rod bearings, Ford Racing oil pump. Rear main seal and retainer.

Crankshaft was cleaned, micro-polished and rebalanced. All parts and components mic'd and remic'd for clearances. .



Asking $1000.00

Rebuilt SPI engine:

Speed Pro pistons and rings, ARP bolts, block bored .020ths, Mahle main and rod bearings, Ford oil pump. Improved casting head, thicker in critical area's to prevent cracking and dropped valve seats. New cam and lifters and retainers. Gates timing set and water pump. Complete running engine, with intake and oil pan. All aluminum parts were cleaned and ceramic media cleaned to restore the new aluminum look.

Block was cleaned and pressured checked and machined for proper head gasket mating. Crankshaft was cleaned, micro-polished and rebalanced. All parts and components mic'd and remic'd for clearances. Rings were filled individually for each specific cylinder to ensure proper end gap.

New zero miles. Can be crated and shipped from my shop.

Asking $1250.00


Zetec parts:


2 rebuilt Zetec heads, one stock with cams, the other milled .070ths to raise the compression to 10.5:1 on a stock piston. asking 300.00 for the stock head and 375.00 for the milled head.

Stainless steel intake valves, stock size. $100.00

Ford racing high lift valve spring and retainer set. $150.00

Gates timing set for 2.0L Zetec, includes belt, pulleys and tensioner. $100.00

SVT Focus oil cooler. $45.00

SPI engine parts:

SPI improved casting head, thicker in critical areas and prevents dropped valve seats, includes, new cam, lifters and retainers. $350.00 have 3 available.

Focus Transmissions and Parts

Stock refinished flywheel. $35.00

00-04 Focus shifter cable pair, new. 135.00

00-04 Focus automatic shift cable. 35.00

4F27E transmission out of an 01 Focus SE with an SPI engine with 70k miles. $375.00

Have lots of body parts and panels for a ZX3 focus and some SE parts also.

If it was higher compression and that included shipping, I'd be all over this. Sadly though 10.5:1 isn't high enough for me ... But let me kick it around a bit and I might bite, I'll let ya know. No dibs or anything though.

And just because I am curious, how much was milled from the deck? (if it was something like 0.050" and it's now a zero deck block I might be able to swing something)

It had .015ths shaved from the block deck, i could dissassemble it and have it remilled if interested.. wouldnt take me but a day to have it done. Why not just mill the head instead to compensate for the compression.

My head is already milled 0.045", and I have a spare virgin head too. But the milled head had the chambers opened up a bit, cc's went from 44 stock to 46cc's after milling.
So I'm trying to figure out what static would be ... and it looks like I'd be in the 12's somewhere, which might work out.
Just waiting on JE to email me the specs of the pistons.

I get paid Friday and I'll let you know where I stand.

Is the price shipped, or is shipping extra?
