Nice! I never thought about tinting the sunroof too. Thanks for the suggestion! Oh, and is this just regular tint, or did you go with ceramic? I'm currently trying to decide if it's worth the extra dough for the ceramic since I'm trying to cut down on heat too.

Nothing special just Llumar by 3m and only cost me $220 with lifetime warranty and this is the same place that tinted my Eclipse back in '95 with the same stuff and it held up great.

Cool, thanks. I talked to my local tint shop, and they use a brand called Madico. They said it's really high quality, and pretty much the same as Llumar. It will be $180 installed with a lifetime warranty.

I love my Focus and it truly has been an exciting little car to drive. Great amount of amenities for what I paid for it. A few blemishes here and there from delivery, but nothing to drive me nuts. On another note, the DPS6 has been superb since passing 4-5k miles.

My Focus is fantastic!! Love it! It has very low miles @ 2,600 miles (stored it last winter and it sat for most of this spring) but has no issues yet.
  • DCT trans has no mechanical issues at all (yet) but does like to get confused every once in awhile.
  • MFT is totally awesome! The nav system is fantastic, voice commands are great and Sirius TravelLink is a great novelty for the 6 month trial. MFT pairs up perfectly to my iPhone 4S everytime. Love it! Would not hesitate to buy any new Ford with MFT now.
  • Fit and finish is superb for a car of this price point. It's Audi-esque. A few vibration rattles in the doors when the car starts up in the morning bothers me, however. When that sony sub hits hard it sends the rear passenger door panel on a trip to vibration land.
  • The style of the exterior is so eye catching and stylish. Hard to believe that this car competes with the shit-box Corolla with it's sexy lines in and out. My real pride and joy is my F-150 but I can't help but take a glance back at the Focus when I park it every morning. The classic SVT style 18" wheels offsetted by the pearl white paint with chrome accents are perfectly proportioned on my Ti. Not to mention the silver, black and dark metallic grey dash pieces. Totally modern and macho interior that will age quite well. Wouldn't change a thing.
  • The ride and handling is absolutely amazing. The car rides firm but not harsh at all, steering feel is pretty much glorious, and the handling feels like it has endless possibilities. I've pushed this car very hard in the corners and it grips, and grips, and grips some more. It's like a sports car without the power you'd expect from a sports car...
  • The low-pro 18" Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tires are great..Give you plenty of feedback through the seat. Most summer tires tramline like a mofo, these do not pull much at all. When these wear out I will likely replace them with the same tire, and I'm a tire "connoisseur" If I feel like a tire isn't performing as good as I'd expect It'd drive me crazy and I'd have to replace it. I've never bought a Ford with OEM tires I actually liked. *Cough*Pirelli Scorpion*cough* I'm a big fan of Michelin tires, these are no exception.
  • Plenty of space for my fat ass, and the seats hold me just right, don't really care about rear passenger room as It's usually just me in the car. When I haul passengers I take my Supercrew truck.
  • Lots of space in the rear trunk area. No complaints there.
  • A/C system is great
  • 28-30MPG with my aggressive driving is nothing to complain about. $50 to fill from empty...Huge improvement over the $120 it costed to fill my truck before I gave the daily driving duties to the Focus.

Have I mentioned that I really like this car??

That's great that you have no issues yet, hopefully it stays that way and you'll be one of the lucky minority. I loved my Focus too but after several attempts including a tear down and rebuild of the transmission it just became apparent that Ford has no idea how to fix the problems. I took the financial hit and traded it in on a 2011 Escape with 4WD, so far I love my truck. The difference in gas mileage is tough to swallow but at least I don't get tossed around my seat because of a shuddering, shaking transmission.

Actually the Majority. Why is it some have to rain on others parade? That is like saying I hope you go to Heaven but I intend to drag you to Hell...... If your unhappy, be unhappy on the threads for being unhappy, please don't try making others unhappy just to vindicate your own frustrations.

To everyone else here, I too am very happy with my car and it is the best one I have had the pleasure of owning.
